‘Dancing With the Stars’ wants Simone Biles to join the show because of course they do
Now that Simone Biles has sufficiently slayed the 2016 Olympic Games, we’re sure the powerhouse gymnast has enough gigs lined up to keep her busy for a while. The question is, will she be able to make room in her schedule for a Dancing With the Stars appearance?
According to US Weekly, DWTS producers want Biles to join the show’s upcoming season! Um, this definitely calls for some celebratory beam-twirling.
A source told the site that DWTS wants to cast an Olympian for season 23 and we honestly couldn’t think of a better candidate. Biles has the moves, the million-dollar smile, the charm, Olympic records and the support of Zac Efron, so clearly she’s worthy. Plus, she can solicit some inside advice from her BFF Aly Raisman, who’s a DTWS Season 16 alum.
“I think Dancing With the Stars would be so cool!” the 19-year-old gymnastics champ recently told US Weekly. “I can’t dance, but that’s what it’s for. I don’t know — we’ll be so busy, we have tour, and if that happens, and I can do it, that would be amazing.”
YAS, Simone! We’re ready for you to bring some of that fierceness from the gym to the dance floor. We’ll definitely be on the sidelines cheering you on!
