The ’90s provided some of our world’s most legendary dance moves (The Carlton, the Macarena and the running man are just a few). That said, it should come as no surprise that this decade was chock full of unforgettable dance routines.
Sure, TV shows and music videos contributed to much of this phenomenon, but we must not overlook the overwhelming contributions of ’90s cinema! 1. Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion (1997)

After lying about inventing Post-Its, Romy and Michele rectified themselves with a dramatic wardrobe change and an unforgettable dance routine. Choreographed to Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” Romy and Michele get down with former classmate/self-made billionaire, Sandy Frink. If only all high school reunions ended in a glorious helicopter ride.

Aside from their famous head bob, the Butabi brothers got down to a fabulously awkward dance routine at the Roxbury (where else). I think it’s also fair to note that no Butabi brother dance routine is complete without a shiny suit, a tight black shirt and a gold chain.
