Dakota Johnson opened up about her relationship with Chris Martin for the first time ever
The pair have been quietly linked for a year but have never spoken publicly about their romance—until now. That’s right, we’re talking Fifty Shades actress Dakota Johnson and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
Martin, who famously “consciously uncoupled” from Gwyneth Paltrow in 2014, remains mum about the relationship. However, in an interview with Tatler magazine’s upcoming November issue, Johnson opened up…kind of.
"I'm not going to talk about it," she said when directly asked about the romance, per E! "But I am very happy."
Okay, while Johnson didn’t exactly spill the tea, she definitely didn’t deny that a romance is, in fact, real—which is more official confirmation than we had before. Johnson, 28, and Martin, 41, were first spotted together in late 2017 and have been photographed out and about on numerous occasions. The couple has also been seen sporting matching infinity tattoos.
At the end of the day, the two are more than entitled to their privacy, and we totally respect Johnson’s desire to keep her personal life to herself. We’re just glad she’s happy.
