Dakota Fanning’s terrifying new movie about witches has not one, but TWO of our favorite “GoT” actors
Even if you’re not usually a horror movie fan, Dakota Fanning’s new movie, Brimstone, has a lot to offer. Aside from a creepy story about a horrific reverend and a grim western setting, it also has Jon Snow. Well, the actor who plays Jon Snow.
The film costars Kit Harington.
And he isn’t the only Game of Thrones alum in the mix. It also has the beautiful Melisandre, who we know IRL as Carice van Houten. Two of our faves teamed up again with another favorite actress? This sounds like a winning formula, indeed.
Anything that features folks from Game of Thrones is worth a watch, in our humble opinion. The movie looks a fright-fest, but we get some comfort in seeing these familiar faces.
Brimstone features the story of Liz (Dakota Fanning) and her daughter. She’s accused of a crime she didn’t commit. Guy Pierce plays the reverend of a remote western town. He is apparently the only law and he’s looks very dangerous and sinister. He sets out to terrorize Liz and her family.
She must protect her mother and daughter from him as she stands trial for crimes she didn’t commit.
The worst part is that he seems to have all the power over her and the town.
The good news is that we get to hear our favorite illegitimate Stark of the North do a southern accent. So basically, our day is made!
It’s really quite adorable. But isn’t anything Kit Harington does completely swoon-worthy?

Guy Pierce makes a really chilling bad guy. He has a menacing quality about him that is really unnerving. And Dakota, Kit, and Carice look like they add some serious ensemble chemistry in this film.
