This dad makes the most incredible 3D toast sculptures for his daughters, and can he be our dad?
Creative types see art in pretty much everything. But breakfast foods? For a dad in Britain, the answer is a resounding yes.
Artist Adam Perry makes amazing sculptures out of toast — yes, toast — for his daughters.
Because one of his children has severe food allergies, she can only eat certain foods, including toast with sunflower butter. So he started playing with his kids’ food, to break up the monotony. Isn’t that sweet?
According to FWx, Adam makes these sculptures, using two pieces of toast, in the time it takes for a kettle to heat up.
He posts his daily work on Instagram, using the very fitting handle @2slicesoftoast.
Adam’s artwork runs the gamut from people and animals to inanimate objects, and they all display striking detail.
While his first sculpture was a very minimalist replica of the London Eye, his toast handicraft has only improved since then.
Interesting fact: You probably already know who this toast artist is. He is currently the drummer for the band Bloodhound Gang, which most famously recorded the song “Bad Touch.” (Although, Adam joined in 2006, while the hit single was released in 1999.)
Adam promised his kids that he would make these sculptures every day for a year. Luckily, we still have another eight weeks to go!
