This dad had a precious freakout over alpacas, and it will make your day

A man traveling in Peru sent his family photos of an alpaca he met — and proceeded to freakout about how cute it was.

Alexandria Neonakis, 32, posted screenshots of her family’s group text, in which her dad, Dimitrus, shared photos of the alpacas and his trip to Peru.

"This was the absolute SOFTEST most HUGGABLE animal EVER. It is an alpaca," he wrote to his family, alongside a photo of him hugging the alpaca with the happiest grin on his face. "Its wool was so soft on my face it kept me laughing. That was the softest ever."

Alexandria said her dad then went out of his way to meet other Alpacas on his trip.

“I guess the rest of the internet also thought it was awesome,” Alexandria said. Twitter users retweeted her screenshots more than 30,000 times.

According to Alexandria, her father is a lover of animals – but Alpacas are definitely his new favorite.
