This baby horse was born with the straight-up craziest markings

Most of us have to go to a tattoo artist to get our dream design etched onto our bodies, but this lucky little foal was born with the the most perfect patch imprinted onto his body and mane.

Meet Da Vinci, the chestnut foal who has (wait for it) HIMSELF as a marking.

Yes, there is a white silhouette of a horse running up his left flank and neck. Hence, the name Da Vinci (you know, because he’s such a work of art). His owners call him ‘Vinny’ for short (cute!)

As the Daily Mail reports, he was born in May at Fyling Hall riding school at Robin Hood’s Bay, North Yorkshire in the UK. His owner Wendy Bulmer, who runs the aforementioned riding school, bought Vinny’s mother at a sale and didn’t realize mom was pregnant with a foal. As first, Bulmer was a little stressed out by the pregnancy, but when Da Vinci was born, he turned out to be such a sweetheart, and she was eventually won over.

“…he is so friendly and the kids love him,” Bulmer explained to the Daily Mail.

Speaking of sweethearts, Vinny actually has more than one cool marking.

“He’s even got a little white heart shape on his bottom as well.”

Now we all want to get on a plane to the UK to get an in-person look (and maybe a quick cuddle) with this adorable little wonder. But, for now, admiring Vinny’s awesomeness on the internet will have to do…
