This tip about curling hair is blowing our minds right now
I don’t know about you guys, but no matter how hard I try, I can never seem to curl my hair the way I see it done at salons or in YouTube tutorials. My hair either curls too much, doesn’t hold a curl at all, or ends up having this weird kind of half bend in it. Seriously, this is as much curl I can get:

Usually, I would just question my hairdressing skills and call it a day; however, with this new tip from Sal Salcedo Hair, I’m starting to think that it’s not my lack of curling iron skills, but rather the temperature of the tool I’m using.
According the Sal Salcedo, it actually doesn’t matter HOW long you hold your hair with the hot tool — the only thing that matters is that the temperature should be set anywhere from 350 to 400 degrees.
Keep in mind that different types of hair obviously require you to set your curling iron at the right temperature. According to David Lopez, who’s worked on all around goddess Chrissy Teigen, fine hair only requires a temperature of 350 – 370 degrees, “normal” hair will be okay around 390 – 400 degrees, and natural/textured hair can get away with temps a little bit higher — up to 420 degrees.
BRB, trying this new trick for date night tonight!
