Cruz Beckham has released his first single and it’s just *too* adorable for words
We all knew this day was coming sooner or later, and now Cruz Beckham has revealed his debut single.
The 11-year-old son of former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and pro soccer player, David, has been teasing a singing career for a while. Firstly, his mother gushed about his singing talents on Seth Myers before she recently uploaded a video of her son singing “Home To Mama” by Justin Bieber on to Instagram. What’s more, it was announced that Cruz had signed with Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun and the 11-year-old launched his own Instagram account teasing that there was some special news coming this week.
Well, that special news has been announced and it’s the release of his debut single.
The track is a holiday song called “If Everyday Was Christmas” and it’s suitably festive. In fact, it reminds a little bit of Justin Bieber’s Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe.
Dropping by the U.K.’s Capital FM to premiere the song, the young singer announced that the proceeds from the single would also be going to charity, too.
"It's two of my favourite things - singing and Christmas!" he said
The charity in question is Global’s Make Some Noise, which aims to help support small projects helping young people living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity in the U.K.
Cruz Beckham’s talents first came to light after his father shared a video of his son singing along to “Cups” from Pitch Perfect.
Since being uploaded, the short Instagram clip has been viewed more then 5 million times.
Soon after, Victoria shared an adorable video of Cruz singing Twista and Faith Evans’ “Hopeful.”
