Couples recreate old pictures of themselves and our hearts melt a little bit
Today in all things totally wonderful and soul-warming, we discovered some photo projects that encapsulate true, eternal love. Twelve couples chose to recreate their wedding photos or early dating days by using Poloroid Blipfoto Journals, a digital photo album app. The results are incredibly sweet and probably melt even the most frigid of hearts. And while Valentine’s Day is definitely over (which is probably a relief for many of us, TBH), that doesn’t mean we need an excuse to feel a little wistfully romantic from time to time.
Take a look at some of these emotional moments that couples decided to canonize. Some have been together as long as 52 years! Along with each photo set is a darling caption about their relationship. It’s ok if you get a little teary-eyed (we’re totally tearing up over here — no shame!):
