When UK couple Kia Parsons and Billy Bunning were planning their August 14th wedding, there was one teensy problem. . . and it had to do with the cake. Kia had her heart set on a beautiful, traditional wedding cake for their ceremony. But Billy? He wanted something different — specifically, something that would showcase his love for superheroes, Marvel, and DC Comics. That’s two very different requests.
Luckily, they had Julie Baker of Tier By Tier cake design on their side. (Yes, her last name is Baker, because the world is a perfect place.) Julie spent hours and hours — specifically, 40 hours — concocting a masterpiece that would fit both Kia and Billy’s tastes. But oh boy, did she do it.
