This couple recreates iconic movie scenes with their cats, and it’s everything we’ve ever wanted
Andy Warhol once said “An artist is somebody who produces things that people don’t need to have.” Clearly, he hadn’t heard about moviecats.
The creative masterminds behind the moviecats Instagram account are David and Sarah, a U.K. couple who recreate movie scenes with the help of their cats, Tara and Willow.
David started using the cinematic cat photos at a trivia night he hosts at a local pub. Players were given copies of the cat-ified scenes and asked to identify the film. The category was so popular that Sarah and Davis decided to share their adorably entertaining pictures with the world.
