And now, country music stars read the MOST merciless Mean Tweets ever

Last night, the Country Music Awards brought together some of the biggest and most talented stars in the genre. It was a celebration of the best of the best, with great performances, touching speeches—and a few awkward jokes.

But ahead of that, Jimmy Kimmel decided to take some of those stars down a notch, you know, just to keep it all in perspective. He invited some of the biggest names in country to read Mean Tweets.

Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan — they packed a lot of people into this three minute clip.

While some are deemed spot-on by the stars, others were a little more intense. And, of course, a lot of them were grammatically inventive. Check out the slightly NSFW clip, and watch country music stars take all the mean tweeting in stride:
