Corey Lewandowski just accidentally called it the “Clinton Administration,” and, like, we wish
We all know that, when it comes to politics, some issues quickly become confusing. But this may take the cake. Corey Lewandowski just accidentally said “Clinton Administration,” while talking about Hillary Clinton’s campaign team.
Like, we wish. But what exactly happened?
In an on-camera interview on Fox News’ Fox & Friends, Lewandowski made a comment that’s getting a ton of online attention, particularly on Twitter. The former Trump campaign manager was commenting on reports regarding the charges that have been filed in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. This is one of many instances in which Fox examines every aspect of HRC’s life as if she really were the president, not Trump.
“The speculation is so insane right now, Lewandowski said. “What we should be focusing on are the continued lies of the Clinton administration, the continued fallacies that they perpetuate.
Some think that by bringing the attention back to Clinton, less attention will go to Trump.
But of course, people have been tweeting non-stop about Corey Lewandowski’s Clinton comment.

And people had lots of speculative thoughts.
This confirms what is becoming very obvious: Most Republicans secretly wish Clinton had won. They like this stuff better than governing. https://t.co/SlUFEQqPo7

Others just wanted to know how we can get some of what Lewandowski’s having.

According to ThinkProgress, Lewandowki didn’t just refer to the “Clinton administration” once. Later in the interview, he said it again. Wishful thinking, anyone? The second time, he said it in reference to the Uranium One scandal.
Trump, too, took to Twitter on October 29th to denounce the investigation, as well as Democrats and Hillary Clinton. He posted a series of tweets, including the threw below.

No doubt, as the above case continues, we have a tendency to think that Lewandowski’s slip-up won’t be the last of its kind, by him or others. We just wish we wouldn’t have to smother that twinge of hope every time.
