Here’s how to easily copy Ariel Winter’s makeup look from the Emmys
It’s nearly impossible to pick just one fave beauty look from last night’s red carpet — everyone looked positively radiant on television’s biggest night. But we have to admit that we’re especially taken with Ariel Winter’s stunning Emmy Awards makeup, she looks like an absolute dream. And no surprise here, she was rocking one of our favorite beauty brands — Glossier.
We can’t think of a better brand used for Ariel’s Emmy makeup look. Their products are the perfect highlight for her skin and cherubic complexion. The juxtaposition of glowing skin with dramatic eye makeup and her bold gown makes for a spectacular combination.
Ariel Winter’s makeup artist, Kip Zachary, took us through the process to create her Emmy Awards look.
It’s always a thrill to find that you can easily create celebrity makeup looks by using products that we use in our daily lives.
As we all know, flawless skin creates the perfect canvas for makeup, so Kip focused on giving Ariel a lit-from-within glow. He used Glossier’s Super Glow serum on the high points of her face for maximum radiance. Then, he primed her skin with Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer to make sure her skin stayed hydrated and primed for makeup.

Before applying eye makeup, Kip made sure to create a shadow base on Ariel Winter’s eyelids.
We don’t want all that hard work to slide right off, now do we?
He applied Glossier’s Stretch Concealer in Medium on the lids before a light dusting of Glossier’s Wowder in Light/Medium. It made for the perfect base to the Marc Jacobs black eyeliner and MAC black metallic and silvery gunmetal shadows.

For her complexion, Kip used Glossier’s Perfecting Skin Tint in Dark with a foundation brush as well as Glossier’s Stretch Concealer in Medium under her eyes and blending into the foundation. Her gorgeous pink cheek comes from Glossier’s Cloud Paint in Puff, and some Glossier’s Haloscope in Quartz for a gorgeous glow. To finish it off, Kip used MAC’s lip liner in Soar and lip gloss by Buxom in Sweetheart Pink and the look is complete.
And because your body skin is just as important, Kip used Glossier’s new Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream on her skin for that baby-soft look.
We will definitely be recreating this stunning look for our next big night out! Having a breakdown of all the products used makes even a dramatic look like this feel much more accessible. Will you be giving it a whirl before your next event?
