Congrats to high school grad, Zendaya!
High school is an adventure all on its own, but when you’re in the spotlight, like Disney star Zendaya, it’s a whole new challenge. That said, she’s made it through, completed her coursework, and even threw herself a pre-graduation party before taking the last of her finals. Now she’s a grad. Congrats girl!
We’re used to seeing Zendaya in K.C Undercover, Sunday nights on the Disney Channel, or a few years ago in Shake It Up and on Dancing With the Stars — but we’re loving seeing her in a cap and gown! Her former dance partner on DWTS, Val Chmerkovskiy, came to the event to celebrate Zendaya’s high school triumph. He also mentioned that right BEFORE her high school graduation, Zendaya was at the Met Gala. That is one busy young lady!
On her own social media, Zendaya touted a few of her high school moments as well, even showing us her senior portrait, which she says she was super hyped about:
She also included this shot on her whosay account, writing, “Thank you for our little pre-graduation party! Still gotta take a few finals! #Positivethinking.”
We’re thinking positively as well! With high school over, maybe her next mission could be to teach us some of her dance moves. Either way, there are great things ahead for this grad!
