Colton Haynes just perfectly addressed his sexuality on Tumblr

Colton Haynes may be ultra well-known for his hit show Arrow, but he’s perhaps just as well known for keeping it real and talking about what matters. Take, for example, the time he opened up about his struggle with anxiety and kept the conversation going about mental health. And now, he’s publicly spoken out about his sexuality on his Tumblr. . . but not in the way you’d expect.

Recently, Tumblr user pornandmariah posted about Colton Hayne’s “secret gay past”:

Colton decided to address this by responding incredibly casually: “Was it a secret? Let’s all just enjoy life & have no regrets.” http://coltonhaynesofficial.tumblr.com/post/136449827533/pornandmariah-when-i-found-out-colton-haynes

It may seem small, but in just a few words, Colton addressed something major: That if we’re not shouting our sexuality from the rooftops, it’s automatically a “secret,” something of which we feel ashamed or uncomfortable.

Previously, Colton has not spoken about his sexuality or love life in public, but does that mean he’s ashamed? Absolutely not — just that he’s a private person. And that’s perfectly OK.
