ColourPop swatched their blotted lips from the Alexis Ren collection, and it looks like the perfect lip stain
Equal parts adorable and affordable brand ColorPop is gearing up for another collab. This time ColourPop is partnering with model and influencer Alexis Ren on a collection that includes Ultra Matte and Ultra Satin liquid lipsticks, a contouring palette, and a brand new item — the Blotted Lip.
Everything in the Alexis Ren for ColourPop collection is under $15, Blotted Lips will retail for five buckaroos.
With a name like Blotted, we assumed that the lip colors would be on the sheer side. ColourPop swatched the shades on Snapchat and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that although they’re sheer, the Blotted lippies are also buildable for a bolder look.
The swatches are in a pattern to show one swipe of color versus how it looks when built up a few layers.
We can’t wait to see how they look with different liners and worn over different lipsticks. We’re thinking of combining Deja Vu with MAC lipliner in Cork, layering Lexi over the Kylie Cosmetics liquid lipstick “Kristen,” and mixing exotic with a sheer glitter gloss like LipSense SeneGence Gloss.
