Cole Sprouse says that working with Jennifer Aniston on “Friends” wasn’t as easy as it seemed

Before Cole Sprouse became a major Disney Channel star, he had a recurring role on a teeny tiny TV show you might remember called Friends. Oh, you remember it? Great. Well, Cole Sprouse just revealed that working with Jennifer Aniston wasn’t as easy as it seemed.

And his reason is adorable.

While playing Ross Geller’s son Ben on Friends, AKA the most popular TV show ever, was “really wonderful,” Cole found working with co-star Aniston to actually be really difficult.

“I had a really, really hard time working with Aniston because I was so in love with her, he explained to Mashable. “I was infatuated. I was speechless — I’d get all bubbly and forget my lines and completely blank. It was so difficult.

How sweet and adorably hilarious is that?

Cole was around eight years old when he was on Friends, but he clearly knew a pretty and incredible lady when he saw one. No word on whether or not the adoring feelings were reciprocated by Aniston.

Cole went on to play Cody on The Suite Life of  Zack and Cody and The Suite Life on Deck on the Disney Channel. He’s currently starring as Jughead Jones in the TV series Riverdale, which is based on the characters by Archie Comics.

Riverdale airs on The CW on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET. And Friends reruns air pretty much all the time on TBS… or anytime you want them on Netflix. But chances are you already knew that.
