Cole and Dylan Sprouse’s dad could legit be their triplet

Genetics are a crazy thing, aren’t they? A photo of Cole and Dylan Sprouse’s dad was shared on Cole’s account, and we totally see where they get their looks from. Since they’re twins, Cole admitted he wasn’t even completely sure he was the baby in the photo, which is also pretty funny.

Here’s the kicker. The photo was actually shared back in 2015, but it started making the rounds yet again. It looks like fans might have had their interest in the brothers reignited after Dylan announced he’d be returning to the acting world. Fans of Riverdale are already aware that Cole is still hanging around on sets, as he’s currently portraying Jughead Jones in the series.

All we need is a time machine, and their dad could easily take on the role of Jughead if Cole becomes unavailable.

(Then again, Dylan would probably be a less technologically-impossible choice.)

Dad aside, it’s such a throwback to see Cole so young. For many of us, our first introduction to the actor was when he played Ross Geller’s son, Ben, in later seasons of Friends. That role started for Cole back in 2000, when he was just around eight years old.

Of course, Dylan and Cole’s big, lifechanging roles were on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, which started airing on the Disney Channel in 2005. While both decided to take a break after appearing on a spin-off of the show, we’re happy to see Cole back — and to hear that Dylan also still has the acting bug.

Who knows? Maybe their dad will also decide to follow in their footsteps.
