The Coachella 2019 headliners have been announced, and ye gods, this is awesome
The 2019 Coachella headliners have been announced, and we officially need to start saving up for our passes. The organizers of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival confirmed that Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, and Tame Impala will headline the April festival.
Last year’s Coachella lineup is a hard act to follow: Beyoncé dominated the stage during both weekends. But if anyone can follow that up, it’s Grande and Gambino. (And we have to admit we’re pleasantly surprised to see Gambino on the list. Donald Glover hinted that he’d be retiring his alter ego after concluding his This Is America tour, which ended in mid-December.)
Or perhaps we’ll be getting something more “Guava Island-y” from him—Coachella is a music and arts festival, after all.
Coachella 2019 attendees can also expect to see Janelle Monáe, The 1975, Khalid, Diplo, Zedd, Solange, and Weezer take the stage throughout both weekends. Seriously, guys—this lineup is epic. And we, along with everyone else, are so ready. false false
