This is a dream your dark heart makes, because Coach is releasing a *gothic* Disney collection
In a move so dark it may as well have come straight out of Into the Woods, Disney and Coach are teaming up to make your goth dreams come true. The two are releasing “A Dark Fairy Tale” collection, and it is not your mother’s Disney merch.
The edgy new collection flips the script on the sunny collections we’re used to, incorporating a bit of the Brothers Grimm darkness into two of Walt Disney’s iconic original princesses. For the better part of the last century, Disney’s been the go-to name associated with all things fairy tale — the iconic 2005 Matt Damon-Heath Ledger film aside — but this stunning new collection invokes the fairy tales’ darker origins.
The Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Sleeping Beauty themed collection have something for everyone, ranging from men’s and women’s clothing to accessories worth pricking your finger for. You’re going to want to (temporarily) put down those black sequined Minnie Ears and dive headfirst into this stunning new Disney x Coach collection.
