Clear your schedule: The “13 Nights of Halloween” lineup is HERE

Sure, we love costume parties and Halloween candy as much as the next gal, but scary movies are one of the biggest treats of this October. That’s why we recommend tuning into Freeform for its “13 Nights of Halloween” lineup offers some great spooky viewing next month.

Freeform, formerly ABC Family, recently released the lineup of devilish viewing fun, which begins on October 19th. Take a look at our recommendations for tuning in, whether you’re watching with your best gal pal, your kindergarten nephew, or that too-cool tween niece visiting for the night.

It’s BFF-Approved.

Grab a bag of  mini candy bars, a bottle of wine, and gather your girlfriends for a chill night at home. We’d recommend watching  The Addams Family, The Addams Family Values, Hocus Pocus, or Sleepy Hollow.

And cool enough for the teen-and-tween set.

It’s a strange choice for a Halloween movie, but we’re hard pressed to think of any teen or tween who’s going to object to watching Hunger Games or Catching Fire, whether it’s Halloween, Chanukkah, or St. Patrick’s Day, quite frankly. Other solid choices include R.L. Stine’s Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls, and for the romantic goth teens in your circle, Sleepy Hallow is a no-brainer.

It’s kid-friendly, obvs.

For the super-scaredy-cat kiddos, we’d recommend a viewing of Spooky Buddies, which follows adorable puppies around a haunted mansion.

What movies do you wish had been added to the lineup this year? Which ones will you be tuning in to view?
