Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber just made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week, and she slayed
Supermodel Cindy Crawford’s mini-me, 16-year-old Kaia Gerber, just made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week. It looks like our prediction of Kaia being the next “it girl” could be coming true! Gerber has already started to make a name for herself in the fashion world. She’s quickly racking up modeling accolades, such as becoming the face of Marc Jacobs’ Daisy fragrance and being on the cover of Teen Vogue.
Plus she’s got a quirky personality, styling herself in eclectic pieces like a vacuum cleaner dress. (Note to self: Household cleaning items can be fashion, got it.)
With this debut at Calvin Klein’s spring/summer 2018 show, Kaia has proven she can hold her own.
Just take a look at her first-ever runway walk.
Dressed in yellow trousers and a black, Western-style silk shirt, the teen easily commanded the NYFW spotlight.
Kaia is also giving us a great sneak peek at a cool-girl layering trend we’ll see next spring, with that turquoise turtleneck peeking out of her collar.
The teen gushed after the show with a note to designer Raf Simons,"There are no words to describe how I feel, I love you endlessly Raf!"
Kaia’s mom Cindy Crawford also shared a message on Instagram.
"Congrats @KaiaGerber! What a way to kick off your first runway season!! So excited for you!" she wrote.
Before the show, Kaia posted a pic with fellow model Lulu, one of the faces of the current Calvin Klein 205W39NYC campaign.
How is it that even in a bathrobe, this girl can work it?
From the looks of Kaia Gerber’s Instagram feed and this stunning runway walk, we’re sure to see plenty more iconic fashion moments from the up-and-coming it girl.
