Ciara and Russell Wilson just won the game when it comes to his-and-hers wedding anniversary gifts
Ah, there’s nothing like a super sweet gesture between couples to make our hearts melt. On Thursday, Ciara and Russell Wilson celebrated their one-year anniversary in Mexico, which is super romantic on its own.
However, it was Ciara’s anniversary gift to Wilson that has us absolutely swooning on her husband’s behalf.
As Just Jared reports, the 31-year-old singer and mother of two hired a plane to fly a banner with a heartwarming message for Wilson on July 6, one year to the date after the couple was married in England. Ciara shared a video of her romantic gesture on Instagram, and it’s kind of hard not to blush while watching the special moment.
In the video, Ciara can be seen cradling Sienna Princess — her daughter with Wilson — and directing her son Future to look towards the sky just as the plane flies by with its sweet message.
The singer also shared a still shot of the message, and yeah, it’s basically THE sweetest thing ever.
If you’re gushing uncontrollably right now, then you probably won’t stop anytime soon because Wilson followed up his wife’s gift with something equally swoon-worthy.
“I tried to plan things for the day, but he wouldn’t let me…’twas a perfect day,” Ciara wrote. “The simple things are the sweetest…”
So, that does it! These two pulled out all the classic stops to commemorate their first year of marriage, and we officially cannot handle any more of their sweetness.
