On the one year anniversary of her death, Christina Grimmie’s family has shared a moving tribute in which they’ve thanked the fans for their support.
It’s been 12 months since Grimmie was shot at a fan meet-and-greet following a concert in Orlando, Florida, and she is still sorely missed. Over the last year, the singer’s family has shared some of her music, including a posthumous album, All Is Vanity, which was released last week.
Grimmie, of course, had risen to public consciousness after appearing on the sixth season of The Voice, where she was part of Adam Levine’s team.

In a moving Facebook post, Grimmie’s family wrote a powerful note to her fans.
“We want to take this moment to say thank you to Christina’s legion of fans worldwide and all the partners who contributed and are still contributing to her legacy,” the statement reads.
Continuing, they spoke about their appreciation as a family for the support they’ve received.
“Your prayers, love, encouragement and support have been felt by us as a family and we are humbled and deeply appreciative,” they wrote.
"We too, are still healing, but know that we love each and every one of you. Thank you for your support! 💚💚💚"
The statement comes after fans congregated outside The Plaza Live in Orlando, many of whom were wearing the singer’s favorite color green.
