Christina Aguilera amazingly impersonates every pop star ever
It’s no secret that Christina Aguilera is incredibly talented. The Voice host is a mega-pop-star and music icon, with incredible pipes to back up her fame. But singing isn’t the only skill Ms. Aguilera has, and she reminded us of that fact in a new promo for her hit NBC show by busting out her fantastic range of impressions.
Christina has introduced us to her impressive range of vocal skills in the past, beginning when she did an on-point Samantha during an SNL Sex and the City sketch back in 2004. Earlier this year she had an incredible round of “Wheel of Musical Impressions” on The Tonight Show: Cher, Shakira, and Britney were all given the Christina treatment, and honestly the “Folgers Coffee” jingle never sounded so great!
Those favorites were back in this new promo, along with Miley Cyrus, Sia, and Lady Gaga. Christina poked a little fun at her fellow pop icons, channeling a late ’90s Britney, exploring the finer problems of Sia’s eye-covering hair, and asking if the hosting chair can be covered in bacon to better accommodate Gaga’s outfits. Her take on Cher is beyond hilarious: “Adam Levine? Is he my accountant? Blake Shelding? Who’s Blake Shelding?” Christina’s ability to nail the little quirks and ramp them up just enough makes all these impressions so hilar!
