Christie Brinkley and look-a-like daughter Sailor have a mom and daughter day at charity event
Puppies, check. Mother-daughter bonding time, check. Brand spankin’ new Lord & Taylor location, double check. Uh, did Christie Brinkley and her look-a-like daughter Sailor just have the greatest afternoon of all time? The two attended an event for Life’s WORC Family Center for Autism at the grand reopening of Lord & Taylor in Garden City, NY. Christie beamed as she walked alongside her daughter at the benefit, which also donated to North Shore Animal League America. The famed Sports Illustrated model (and don’t forget the super babely “Lady in the Red Convertible” in National Lampoon’s Vacation and this awesome spoof) wore a shiny metallic tea-length dress alongside her model daughter, who stuck with a simple and elegant olive green silk gown with knee-high black suede boots for some texture.
Sorry Reese Witherspoon and daughter, Ava. There’s a new set of blonde multi-generational twins in town.
The art deco vibes are serious! How perfect is this silver and gold pleated dress?
Sailor paired her lace-detailed silk dress with some chunky heels to edge up her feminine look.
Christie has received such honors as the HBA Global Positively Beautiful Award on behalf of her work with Smile Train (a foundation that raises funds for surgically correcting cleft lip and palate in children worldwide) and 2013 Pet Hero Award for her contributions toward animal rights, and looks just plain radiant at age 62. Her daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook, 20, is a near body double of mom; sporting the same glowy skin and blonde blowout that keeps the Brinkley name synonymous with gorgeousness.
Plus, puppies. Always puppies.
Christie Brinkley is living proof that doing good keeps you looking good. What other evidence do you need?
