Chrissy Teigen wore a dress with the highest slit we’ve EVER seen, and woah

Head-turning looks on a red carpet are nothing new, to be honest. But Chrissy Teigen rocked a dress with the HIGHEST slit we’ve ever seen at last night’s American Music Awards, and we are bowing down to her for having the gusto to pull off such a daring — and potentially dangerous — look, all in the name of fashion.

Chrissy is known for a lot of things — she’s a supermodel, half of the cutest couple ever with hubby John Legend (seriously, these two are the definition of #relationshipgoals!), she’s a chef and serious foodie, and she’s also momma to adorable baby Luna — but last night she reminded us of another equally important talent: rocking an ultra-bold dress with a slit practically up to her armpits, and looking casually while doing so.

Chrissy stepped out with her hubby on the red carpet and also presented him during his stunning performance of his new single “Love Me Now,” and we literally have no idea how she avoided a complete wardrobe malfunction in her long-sleeved black Yousef Akbar gown.

The slits went up pretty much past her hips, and were somehow held together by some strategically placed safety pins.

Chrissy’s dress was equally revealing in the back, and her pin-straight long locks were perfectly accented by her mixed metal gold jewelry and killer lace-up black and gold sandals.

Before the show, Chrissy joked on Twitter that it was a “big day” because she “had to shave above the knee,” but all the extra prep time in the shower was clearly worth it, because girl looked FEROSH.
