Chrissy Teigen tweeted about her hit-and-run accident in the most chill way ever

You probably heard the news by now, but Chrissy Teigen got into a minor car accident yesterday. Of course, car accidents are always a little scary, but as expected, Chrissy Teigen addressed the hit-and-run the best way ever through Twitter. In fact, Teigen cut through all of the drama and got straight to the point. Did we mention she’s our hero? Because she’s definitely our hero.

Teigen was uninjured in the accident, which happened on Tuesday evening in Los Angeles. Teigen was allegedly the passenger. Reports state that a suspect was arrested after the incident occurred.

While it seems scary, this was just another day for Teigen. In fact, she seemed a little confused about why it was even in the news at all.

We seriously can’t even imagine how Teigen felt reading the report, but surely she’d be able to relate to actors like Wayne Knight and Steve Burns, both who learned of false fortunes at least once on the internet.

Then, she explained the accident from her point of view.

And then? She said this, which once again reminded us that she’s pretty funny.

After that? It was back to business, as far as tweeting goes.

So, while the event in itself was pretty unfortunate, Teigen definitely thought nothing of it.

The whole situation only reminds us how different the world is for celebrities — if this happened to us, we’d probably only deal with a frustrating phone call to our moms after the event took place.

Regardless, we’re happy that Teigen is okay, and able to address the situation so casually.
