Chrissy Teigen had the perfect clapback to a fan who asked if she was pregnant
It’s been an eventful few weeks for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend (especially because Legend became the first black man to win an EGOT at the 2018 Creative Arts Emmys, NBD). And Teigen doesn’t have time for trolls—which she made abundantly clear after attending the 2018 Primetime Emmys on September 17th.
It all started when a Twitter user commented on Teigen’s appearance, writing, “I’m asking this with the utmost respectful, but is @chrissyteigen pregnant again?”
To this Teigen aptly (and artfully) replied, “I just had a baby but thank you for being soooo respectful.”

Teigen gave birth to son Miles back in May, and she’s been continually open and honest about the the way her body has changed and transformed during motherhood. So we’re honestly cheering at the way she put this commenter in their place. Unsolicited comments about our bodies are never acceptable, and new moms have enough on their plates without fielding questions about their appearance.
For the record, Teigen looked beautiful in a beaded silver Zuhair Murad gown that featured long sleeves and sheer paneling in the chest. She completed the look with a glam smoky eye and wavy bob, and accessorized with a coordinating clutch and sandals (while adding a touch of sparkle with earrings and rings).
We hope the comment didn’t stop her from having a wonderful night out, and we also hope this serves as a reminder that it’s never okay to scrutinize someone’s body, no matter how “gracious” you’re trying to be.
