Chrissy Teigen says she and John Legend aren’t going to hide their daughter
When a celebrity baby is born, it’s a mad scramble to see what the little one looks like. The media pays top dollar to publish exclusive photos, because fans are dying to get a peek. Remember how long we had to wait to see the first pictures of North and Saint West? We can’t help it; when a star shares so many details of her life and pregnancy with us, we’re anxious to see the beautiful new babe.
There are quite a few celebs who are pregnant right now, like Anne Hathaway, Rose Byrne and the recently announced Behati Prinsloo. But of course, there’s one who comes to mind above all others: Chrissy Teigen. She’s been so incredibly open and honest about everything related to her pregnancy, from her struggles conceiving to her wild food cravings. And when her daughter comes, Chrissy and her husband John Legend have no plans to stop sharing.
“We’re not going to go out of our way to hide because obviously it’s such a big part of our lives to show everything: the inside of our homes, my parents living with us, our animals, everything,” she told PEOPLE. “I’m not going to do sneaky back shots of her or anything.”
We wouldn’t expect anything less. Like Chrissy said, she already shares everything with us on social media. With something as life changing as a new baby comes along, we wouldn’t expect her to hold back.
“It’s important for me and John to protect some bits of us, but it’s hard to say,” she continued. “I didn’t think I would be the person sharing bump photos, so who knows. I could be totally wrong here.”
Basically, Chrissy will be sharing pics of Baby Girl Legend just like any other proud mama. We can’t wait to watch the couple navigate their new roles as parents—they’re going to be naturals. Still, one question that remains: What will the little one’s name be?
