Chrissy Teigen says she humiliated herself in front of Beyoncé at the Grammys
Even though she has her fair share of celebrity friends, that doesn’t mean Chrissy Teigen won’t fangirl out over Beyoncé like the best of us. And according to the Say What? Karaoke host, she fangirled hard this week at the 2018 Grammys.
In case you missed it, the Grammys were on Sunday, January 28th and had an all-star guest list. And we spent ample time the following day fawning over photos of Teigen and husband John Legend, as well as pics of Beyoncé enjoying the show with Jay-Z and Blue Ivy. As it turns out, our favorite celeb families actually got the chance to chat after the show, and things got kinda weird.
"She emits this aura that's just spectacular," Teigen said about Beyoncé while telling the story on The Tonight Show.
Teigen then went on to describe a slightly awkward encounter that took place between herself and Queen Bey.
"On our way out, I took both her hands and John's like, 'What are you doing?' I got down on my knees and I was like, 'Sorry to bother you, my queen.' Who says that?"
You can watch Teigen describe the full moment below at about 3:30.

LOL. But seriously, we get it, girl.
The good news is that Teigen will likely have the opportunity to run into Beyoncé at many an awards show in the future. John Legend has 10 Grammys, and we have a feeling he (and Beyoncé) won’t be slowing down any time soon.
Until then, don’t feel to embarrassed, Chrissy. She’s called the Queen for a reason, and she’s surely used to this by now.
