Chrissy Teigen tweeted an epic observation about Donald Trump
At this point, Chrissy Teigen’s tweets are legendary. There’s no topic that’s off-limits, and she makes sure to always tell it like it is…much to the chagrin of online trolls and followers who aren’t fans of her signature candor.
Whether she’s tweeting about that mom life, hilariously shading husband John Legend, or live-tweeting her bizarre flight saga, she’s one of our favorite celebs to look to for both sage wisdom and relatable thoughts, and she constantly makes us LOL along the way.
Chrissy is also such a vocal critic of Donald Trump that he blocked her on Twitter last summer…which is kind of an accomplishment. But that hasn’t stopped Chrissy from speaking her truth about the president and the strange world we’re currently living in.
In her most recent tweet, she references the “Tide Pod Challenge” (aka, a recent phenomenon in which people are eating laundry detergent pods for fun. No, we don’t understand it, and yes, it’s very dangerous).

It does seem bizarrely fitting that Trump’s presidency has coincided with one of the most dangerous and unsettling viral trends on record, doesn’t it? (Remember when Trump stared at the solar eclipse without glasses, guys?)
While Chrissy’s tweet is a perfect observation for 2018, we’d be remiss if we didn’t take a moment to remind everyone to never, ever eat laundry detergent, no matter what you read on the internet. Again, it’s very unsafe (not to mention, likely tastes gross).
