Summer might look a little different for most of us this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun with our beauty looks. Chrissy Teigen just made a major hair change, ditching her recent mermaid length in favor of a beachy bob, and she’s providing inspo to the rest of us needing a refresh amid quarantine.
Teigen and her stylist, Irinel de León, both shared a post-haircut video on Instagram, and by the looks of it, the mom of two chopped off some serious length. It seems like she loves her mid-summer hair makeover just as much as we do.
In the video, which the Cravings author posted to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, July 29th, Teigen can be seen running her hands through her new hair. It’s a tousled, wavy, clavicle-skimming bob with a deep side part for extra volume.
“Short again,” Teigen said as she showed off her new look, crediting both de León and makeup artist Kristine Studden for her summer goddess vibes.

Of course, Teigen has tried out plenty of hairstyles over the years, and she has worn short hair before, but this cut with her sandy blonde highlights feels so perfect for summer. It’s proof that you can still look like a beachy goddess even if the closest you get to the ocean this year is by looking at the surf-and-sand screensaver on your laptop.
