Chrissy Teigen tried a dangerous ballet move, and had a hilarious response for her critics

She’s always up for sharing her hilarious hi-jinks with her millions of social media followers, but Chrissy Teigen was criticized for posing like a ballerina over the weekend, and her response was totally en pointe.
The social media superstar loves giving fans a glimpse into her life at home with baby Luna and husband John Legend, but this unfortunately means she often faces criticism from online trolls about everything from her parenting abilities to her political activism.
On Saturday, Chrissy posted an amazing video of her attempt to channel her inner ballerina on Instagram and Twitter, revealing that John gave her a pair of ballet shoes a few years ago.
And the haters came out in full force in the comments.
In the video, Chrissy attempts to twirl en pointe with the support of her hubby, before yelling out a choice four-letter word and dropping to her feet. She reveals she’s admired ballet dancers since she was young, captioning the shot:
"I have been in love with watching ballet since I was young. I was given shoes from a performance John planned for me a few years ago. Tonight, I tried them on. IT IS HARD. Shout out to the ballerinas I love, and have loved, so so much."
She also shared the video to Twitter, joking about how “weak” her feet are in her typical silly, self-deprecating manner.
Little known fact – I have been in love with ballet since I was young. Watching, at least. Someone sent me their old shoes. I'm….real good pic.twitter.com/n1vSJIisPM

My feet. Are. So weak. God I love real ballerinas.

But critics were quick to point out that it takes ballet dancers years to perfect their technique and that it was dangerous for her to try the moves without proper training. Chrissy then hit back at the critics in true Chrissy fashion, and we’re applauding her yet again for her response.
I get it. I could have broken an ankle. You can stop telling me. If only you knew the other 1000 bone-breaking things I attempt daily.

Chrissy, you do you, girl. Dance like nobody’s watching, and don’t let the haters stop you from having your fun.
