Chris Pratt is taking six months off for this awesome reason, and we love him all the more
If you’ve been a sentient human the last couple years, then you know that Chris Pratt has been KILLING IT at the box office. Seriously, the former doe-eyed Parks and Rec guy transformed into a verifiable Hollywood sensation, starring in blockbusters like Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World, and both the upcoming The Magnificent Seven and Passengers. We told you. Killin’ it.
So it makes utter and total sense that the actor recently told Parade Magazine he’d be taking six months off to spend time with his family.
And, if you’re a Chris Pratt fanatic like ourselves, then you know that means spending time with funny-woman wife Anna Faris and son Jack.
"I’m taking Jack to Jack’s Beach—which is what we named the little stretch of beach on an island up on the San Juan Islands where we got a place," he said. "We’re going to go back to the fort we built about a month and a half ago when we went for a short visit and see if that’s still there. If not, we’re going to build it again."
That’s seriously the sweetest thing we’ve ever heard. And we respect him SO MUCH for taking a step back and prioritizing time with loved ones.
