Chris Pratt just shared an awesome behind-the-scenes photo of some insanely detailed aliens in “Guardians of the Galaxy 2”
If you’re not following Chris Pratt on Instagram, you just missed out on something huge. Pratt gave followers a behind-the-scenes look at some new and familiar faces on the set of Guardians of The Galaxy 2.
Pictured are three aliens, two blue and one green. For those of you who haven’t even seen the first Guardians (Where were you? What have you been doing? Watch the dang thing!), no, they are not the newest members of the blue man group.
They’re actually Yondu, Nebula, and our newest alien bud, Mantis.
Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, and Pom Klementieff are unrecognizable in their colorful movie makeup, but Rooker and Gillan are reprising their roles from the first Guardians of the Galaxy film. Rooker may also be familiar to you from The Walking Dead.Flame-haired Gillan you may remember as Amy Pond from Doctor Who. Newcomer Pom Klementieff is sure to be a breakout star in this much-anticipated sequel. The French-speaking actress has long been a favorite in many French films.
Pratt managed to take a quick pic of the aliens chillin’ together on set. In true Chris Pratt style, Pratt captioned the pic in his usual supportive and excitable way.
"#gotgvol2 here's us backstage on set waiting to Guardian the Galaxy," he wrote. "Can't wait for you to see these three in the movie. #rooker and @karengillanofficial are back, bigger and badder than ever and introducing #mantis @pomin8r who absolutely crushes!"
Pratt’s excitement for Guardians of The Galaxy 2 is totally contagious. It’s set to have another amazing soundtrack and great cast, just like the first one. You can watch the film when it arrives in theaters on May 5th.
