If you’re looking for a place to cry following the Chris Pratt and Anna Faris separation, Twitter is here for you

Sunday night our world was rocked, and not because of what happened during Game of Thrones‘ fourth episode. Just after 8 p.m. PST, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced their separation in a joint statement across social media. The feelings and tears came hard and fast, and about 98% of us have never had real contact with either of these two human beings. But we love them so, so much, and their hurt is our hurt.

Instantly, the internet — for lack of a better expression — broke. Like, seriously broke. If you’re wondering what can overshadow an episode of Game of Thrones where Dany rides a dragon and [spoiler] maybe DIES, it’s the news that Pratt and Faris have parted ways.

Thankfully, since the internet is here for us in good times and bad, the internet was here for us once again. Specifically, Twitter. Just about everyone on the internet turned to the social media site during this difficult time, and we’re here for each and every one of you.

Many declared the obvious: Love is dead

Some realized that even though they’ve never met Anna or Chris, this affects them personally

And there were a handful who needed to voice once specific complaint: All this after Game of Thrones??

Basically, everyone is going through some heavy emotions

Stay strong, everyone. We’ll all get through this together.
