Chris Pratt tears up talking about his son, our hearts explode
Chris Pratt was on Ellen yesterday just casually talking about life and promo-ing Parks and Rec when they got to the topic of Pratt and Anna Faris’ 2-year-old son Jack. Grab the tissues, because this is where the emotions start.
Pratt is obviously Jack’s absolute #1 fan and called him not just “polite” and a “remarkable kid” but a “genius,” among other adorable dad things. Pratt really got us in the feels when he told a holiday story about young Jack. “He says amazing things, profound things,” Pratt said. “I was laying next to our bed we made a little nest for him during a retreat we took over the holidays . . . like lots of pillows and stuff, because we didn’t have a crib . . . and I said, ‘You know, Jack, there’s a lot of people here and it’s very loud. People are gonna be having a lot of fun and their might even be some tension.’ And he just said, ‘It’s family.’ I almost started crying. I was like, ‘Thank you, son. You’re right.’ He’s like my therapist.” Is that enough adorableness for one blustery January day, or what?
In case you need a little more Pratt cuteness, check out the opener for last night’s People’s Choice Awards which he starred in with Faris. Serious power couple.
And if you need even more Pratt-inspired emotions quickly revisit that day he french braided an intern’s hair during an interview. Sigh.
Basically, Chris Pratt makes our hearts melt in the biggest way. And we’re totally cool with that.
