Liam Hemsworth just proved that his brother Chris is the sweetest of humans

It should come as no surprise that Chris and Liam Hemsworth are two stand out guys (Let’s not forget there’s a third Hemsworth brother in the mix, and his name is Luke, and we’re just waiting for him to snag his own movie franchise). The duo have won over the box office multiple times, and along the way won our hearts, too. Not because they always manage to save the world from aliens/President Snow respectively, but because they’ve proved they’re good guys. Now in a new interview, Liam suggests that Chris might be the BEST guy.

Talking with The Independent, about his life, movies, and the release of Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2, Liam shares a story that makes him tear up every time he thinks about it. His older bro, Chris, in the most amazing gesture, paid off all their parent’s debt as a completely surprise. They didn’t even know it was happening! After the debt was gone, Chris called Pappa Hemsworth and told him to look at his bank account.

“[My father] called my brother Chris back and said: ‘I don’t know how to feel,” Liam explains. “Since I left home I have had debts and I thought I’d be paying them off until I died and have this weight hanging over me, and now to have them completely cleared.’ They are so happy now and able to spend more time with us.”

Oh, hold on, I’ve just got something in both of my eyes.

Huge fame has not changed either one of these brothers, and it appears as if this hard working and loving spirit runs in the family. Liam continues on that he “would love to be able to do something for my parents like that…If you want to be a good person who adds to society, you have responsibility. That is something I take very seriously.”
