Chloe and Halle Bailey’s makeup artist broke down the sisters’ Euphoria-inspired eye makeup look from the Teen Choice Awards
If you weren’t familiar with R&B duo Chloe x Halle before this summer, you may not know much about the sisters beyond the recent news of Halle being cast as Ariel in the upcoming live-action adaptation of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. But the truth is, Chloe and Halle Bailey have been lauded as two of the music industry’s most promising young artists ever since they were signed to Beyoncé’s record label back in 2015.
Talent aside, the Bailey sisters have also made a name for themselves as style icons, consistently serving up the cutest coordinating looks at A-list events. Their latest awards show looks went one step further and featured matching, bright-colored eye makeup that perfectly contrasted with their neutral-toned outfits at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards.
Taking a cue from the bold eye makeup often featured in HBO’s Euphoria, makeup artist Christiana Cassell shared in a recent press release that she adorned the sisters in two equally electric shades of liner from affordable makeup brand NYX. She tied it all together with a brow gel and brow pencil, orange-hued eyeshadow, jet-black mascara, and a dewy setting spray. Full Brows
According to the press release, Cassell got the Bailey sisters started with two super-versatile products to enhance their already gorgeous eyebrows. First, she laid them flat using NYX’s Control Freak Eyebrow Gel.
