You’ll soon be able to get Chipotle and Shake Shack delivered, thanks to Amazon

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally coming — soon we’ll be able to get Chipotle or Shake Shack (or both!) delivered right to our door. How, you ask? Thank Amazon, which is launching a new partnership with Olo, a restaurant software system. Amazon has had its eye on food, and the new collaboration will allow the company to deliver meals from companies that use the program.

Lucky for us, several of our favorite chains use Olo that aren’t currently available on popular delivery services like GrubHub or Seamless. In addition to Chipotle and Shake Shack, Amazon will help deliver meals from Noodles & Company, Sweetgreen, Chili’s, Applebee’s, Red Robin, and Jamba Juice, among others. Yeah, we can’t wait, either.

In total, Olo works with 200 brands at 400,000 locations across the country, Reuters reports. That’s a lot of meal possibilities.

The service will be available to Prime members only, making it another way that Amazon is encouraging customers to sign up for Amazon Prime. It also shows how Amazon is continuing to expand its food offerings. Earlier this summer, Amazon purchased Whole Foods, leading to lowered prices on a number of grocery items. Amazon is also experimenting with meal kits, à la Blue Apron.

The company did a trial run of delivery through Amazon Restaurants in June, writes Today. They had a successful promo for Olive Garden delivery. (We definitely wouldn’t mind ordering up some breadsticks on demand.)

“We are excited to…give Amazon Prime members more options for fast delivery from their favorite brands," said Amazon Restaurants general manager Gus Lopez.

Well, I guess it’s time to sign up for Prime.
