Chipotle read our minds and is starting a delivery service!

The only thing better than getting Chipotle is someone else bringing us Chipotle, right? So guess what world? That dream is becoming a reality. Chipotle is starting a delivery service, which means we will no longer have to get dressed and leave the house to get a burrito bowl. What a time to be aliiiiive.

In a beautiful partnership with start-up Postmates, you’ll now be able to get Chipotle delivered right to your front door and/or office (or both!) on any given day of the week. Getting Chipotle delivery is not a new thing, but now it’ll actually be an approved thing, thanks to Postmates. “There have been a lot of people that have been delivering Chipotle through various services over the years,” the company’s CCO said, in Chipotle’s quarterly earnings call. “And we’ve tried to in a lot of cases shut them down, because we weren’t sure whether the quality was going to be sufficient or whether they were following our rules. This is different because we’ve made an official deal with Postmates and they have been delivering Chipotle for quite a while, too.”

Postmates isn’t new to this whole delivery thing, so we can go ahead and put our full faith in them. They’re the company Starbucks has partnered with for delivery, so while it might not be the best idea to wolf down an entire chicken burrito and then chug a grande frappuccino, I can’t stop you.

We’re still in the early stages of this Chipotle-delivery roll out, and so far Postmates only operates in a few big cities: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, East Bay, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, NYC, Orange County, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. But that doesn’t mean they won’t expand in the future, and just consider the heightened mass hysteria that news would cause. I mean, it’s Chipotle. At our front doors! Beautiful.
