People are having some thoughts about Chick-fil-A’s chicken nugget diet
When you think of diets, the one food that (probably) doesn’t come to mind is chicken nuggets. Right? Yet, the fast food chain Chick-fil-A has other ideas, as evidenced by the text on their latest to-go bag:
It starts off okay with “Kick off the New Year by adding one healthy habit to your routine,” but then the next part unexpectedly advises consumers to eat an 8-count pack of grilled nuggets every 3-4 hours. That’s right. A total of eight nuggets, every three to four hours, apparently makes for a healthy human diet.
In response, Eater produced their very own set of comical guidelines to go along with the above advice. Our favorite tip: “Remember, Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays. To mitigate this, purchase double the amount of nuggets on Saturdays and refrigerate them for Sunday.”
As for Twitter, there are mixed reactions. Some seem to be on board with the diet, ready to devote themselves to chicken nuggets on a round-the-clock basis (which, hey, you do you):
