Chewbacca Mom met IRL Chewbacca, and everything was perfect
Two weeks ago, would you have guessed that a short four-minuet video about a roaring Chewbacca mask would be the biggest thing on the planet? Probably not. But that’s what’s happening right now; We’ve entered into the Age of Chewbacca Mom, and the world is a wonderful place.
Since her video went viral, Chewbacca Mom — aka, Candace Payne — has found herself in the spotlight. TBH, she’s probably the best person ever to suddenly become viral overnight, because she is a ball of energy and sunshine and wherever she goes with the most infectious laughter. She deserves all these amazing spoils and opportunities, and over the weekend she found herself with the BEST one so far: Chewbacca Mom actually meet Chewbacca.
Peter Mayhew, the gentlemen who has portrayed Chewbacca in every single Star Wars movie, attended the Dallas Fan Expo over the weekend. He invited Chewbacca Mom along, too.
During one of Mayhew’s panels, Chewbacca Mom joined him up on the stage, and for a few moments in the world, everything was perfect and wonderful. Wish we could bottle up this meeting and save it forever. false

If that’s not enough of a whirlwind experience, during the Fan Expo, Chewbacca Mom was even hooked up with her own convention BOOTH! A BOOTH! People actually queued up to meet her! (I would)
