Chelsea Peretti continues to be the most relatable mom during awards season by forgetting her breast pump at home
Being a mom isn’t easy. There are a lot of things to remember, and some people can be judgmental if you slip up even once. And when you’re a celebrity mom, the stakes are even higher. But some celebrity moms don’t even pretend that they’re perfect, and remain flawlessly relatable. Enter: Chelsea Peretti.
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star has always been hilarious, and now that she and husband Jordan Peele have welcomed their first child together into the world, she’s now funny on a whole new level. Seriously, Chelsea Peretti is the most relatable mom during awards season, because she forgot her breast pump at the SAG Awards, and #blessed us all with jokes about it.
Taking to Instagram during the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards, Chelsea Peretti explained that she had forgotten her breast pump at home (sometimes that happens) and had to think a little bit outside the box in order to make it work.
"Pumping at sag awards! forgot part of the pump and had to uber it from home," she wrote. "Doing great at being a woman! sexy, maternal, excited and free. reflecting with each mechanical whir."
Yeah, Peretti seriously knows how to laugh at herself, which is a skill every mom (and person, for that matter) needs.
This isn’t the first time Peretti has joked about pumping.
During the Golden Globes, Peretti was spotted looking at her phone, and she had a really good reason.
"I had to pump and was checking what time to get up and do so in a bathroom stall," Peretti explained about her phone usalge, also using the hashtag, "#glamour."

Honestly, Peretti knows a thing or two about what it means to be a mom, and if she forgot her breast pump at home, that’s okay. She can handle it, y’all. She can handle anything and everything, like all women can.
