Chelsea Peretti and Jordan Peele gave their newborn son a unique and regal name
Huge congrats are in order for one of our fave comedic couples Chelsea Peretti and Jordan Peele, who just became parents to their first child, E! Online reports. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actress and Get Out writer-director welcomed their precious bundle on July 1st, and we are seriously digging their baby boy’s very regal-sounding name: Beaumont Gino Peele.
Love it.
Because celebrities have a penchant for giving their kids unique monikers, we’re always super excited when they do the big name reveal. We anticipated something pretty special from Peretti and Peele, particularly because they recently told E! that they were considering naming their baby after a My Little Pony character.
Clearly, the couple chose to go in a completely different direction with their baby’s name, and we have to say, a pony-inspired name pales in comparison to the one they went with.
Back in 2015, Peretti and Peele became engaged. They eloped in 2016 in the presence of their puppy (sweetest thing ever), a union Peele casually confirmed during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Since making their baby announcement back in February, the pair has not said much about the pregnancy (with the exception of Peretti’s occasional tweet or Instagram post), and they have yet to make a public statement about the birth. But we’re hoping to hear precisely how they came up with Beaumont’s elegant name. While it’s probably a long shot, we also have our fingers crossed for some baby photos complete with hilarious captions.
In the meantime, we hope both parents and baby Beaumont are resting comfortably and wish them well on their journey as a loving family of three.
