Annnnd here’s the Halloween staple we’ll be watching on TV tonight
Say hello to the newest remember of TGIT. Thought he might not be a doctor, he does know a good psychiatrist. He’s also not all that great at confrontation, but with enough push he can handle any type of situation. And as far as we know, he has never been accused of murder. No worries, because Charlie Brown is still a perfect fit for Thursday night television, even if his life is controlled by Lucy and not Shonda Rhimes.
With Halloween a short two days away, it’s time to settle in and watch the best Halloween-themed special ever made, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Maybe this year is finally the year Linus gets a face-to-face with the Great Pumpkin. But don’t hold your breath.
ABC aired It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown last week, but this week it’s the full hour-long special, complete with another Peanuts cartoon, “You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown.” Perfectly timed for Halloween and the ongoing presidential debates? This is definitely what we’ll be watching on ABC come 8 p.m.
Of course, this also means that there will be no new Grey’s Anatomy tonight, but there will be a brand new Scandal (not Halloween-themed) and How To Get Away With Murder (I feel like every episode of HTGAWM is Halloween-themed).
If TGIT isn’t your speed, don’t worry. ABC’s little sister network, ABC Family, is playing the Addams Family movies back-to-back from 7pm to 11pm. Set your DVR accordingly.
