Here’s how to channel Rihanna’s cotton candy red carpet look without having to eat ramen for a week
Just when you think you know what to expect from Riri, she changes the game yet again. Rihanna went full on Disney princess at the premiere of her new flick, Valerian. Riri took to the red carpet in a candy cotton-colored couture Giambattista Valli gown, toughened up with a pair of bad a$$ lace-up Manolos.
This isn’t the first time Rihanna has given her sexy street-meets-avant-garde aesthetic the night off. If you recall, she wore another pretty princess look by Giambattista Valli to the Grammys back in 2015. (Of course, you remember that dress, how could anyone forget so much perfect pink tulle?)
Rihanna’s our modern- day Regina George, okay. When she served up the fiery glam in “Wild Thoughts,” the internet responded with a bevy of hair and makeup recreations. We admit to buying a sheer red off-the-shoulder top or two thanks to the sultry songstress, but now we’re planning on switching things up — Rihanna style. Anyone in the mood for lace?
Rihanna’s Valerian premiere look hit us right in the feels. No shade to athleisure, but we do kind of miss tulle and frills every now and then. Riri’s got us in the mood to get girly in off-the-shoulder anything and ladylike shades of pink.
If you’re feeling the vibe as much as we are, get ready to add to cart like a bad gal — and these items won’t break the bank either. No more eating ramen, wink, wink!
